Project design and engineering is the core capability of
Mott MacDonald in India, working on front end and basic engineering
including process design, detailed engineering, developing
specifications for items and packages, quantity take-off and
construction tenders, design-construct implementations and quality
checks during construction for industrial projects.
We have strong credentials in basic and detailed engineering
design for infrastructure projects in transportation and water and
wastewater.
We have provided detailed design services for 20
underground and 21 elevated stations with connecting tunnels and
viaducts for Delhi Metro
Much of the design capability is process-based and both inside
battery limits as well as outside. This capability is married with
a proven track record in industrial advisory and asset valuation,
providing the potential to serve our customer’s needs right from
planning and market analysis through to commissioning. Our design
teams execute diverse commissions covering all aspects of
engineering.
The design teams are all accredited to ISO 9001:2000 under Mott
MacDonald’s world-wide Quality, Environment and Safety (QES)
Management System, but used to conforming to all the appropriate
national and international standards.
Mott MacDonald provided design, procurement services
and project management services to the Caustic Soda Project,
Rasayani for Hindustan Organic Chemicals.
