Sany Heavy Industry India is setting up a Construction Machinery
Manufacturing Facility at MIDC, Pune over an area of over 33
Hectares in a phased manner. The facility shall have total built up
area of 1,70,000 sq.m divided into different zones; like,
manufacturing (including Warehouse), office block and non plant
area.

Services offered by Mott MacDonald India included architecture,
civil/structural, mechanical/utility, piping, electrical,
instrumentation, HVAC, and plumbing. We are also offering site
supervision assistance in this project.
Boiler components manufacturing facility,
Maharashtra
We have been appointed by Thermax Babcock Wilcox (TBW) Energy
Solutions as engineering, procurement and construction management
(EPCM) consultant for their Greenfield super critical boiler
component manufacturing facility located at Satara in the state of
Maharashtra. These boilers, which have high operating pressure and
capacities, are aimed at the global market in response to the
rapidly growing energy demand while the global industrial boilers
market would reach 620 thousand tons of steam per hour by 2015. TBW
has proposed to develop the INR 1200 million project spread over an
area of 125 acres of land. The facility will encompass the
manufacturing, utility and energy blocks, engineering stores,
workshop and warehouse, administrative building, parking area and
road and compound walls.
Reclaimed rubber manufacturing facility, Tamil Nadu
We are appointed by Gujarat Reclaim & Rubber Products Limited
as engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM)
consultant for a reclaimed rubber manufacturing facility to be
located at Perundurai near Erode in the state of Tamilnadu. The new
manufacturing facility will be built on a Greenfield site spread
over an area of 12.47 acres. The facility will include a
manufacturing block producing butyl reclaimed rubber a utility
block and an infrastructure block comprising an administrative and
storage facility as well as security office.
PET bottles machinery manufacturing facility,
Maharashtra
Mott MacDonald has been appointed by ASB International Private
Limited to provide engineering, procurement and construction
management (EPCM) services for an INR 550 million (US$ 12 million)
PET bottles machinery and mold manufacturing plant expansion to be
located at Ambernath in the Thane district of Maharashtra. The
10,800 m2 extension to ASB International’s existing operational
facility at Ambernath - which is one of the most modern and largest
among single stage PET processing machine manufacturers in the
world - will include a major machinery and quality assurance
laboratory as well as utilities and office space. We are providing
world class industrial design expertise ranging from utilities,
architecture, civil and structural, electrical, mechanical, piping
to HVAC, instrumentation and fire protection to the project. We are
also supporting procurement and selection of all necessary
equipment for building construction as well as providing
construction supervision services during the project execution
stages.
Greenfield process equipment manufacturing facility,
Maharashtra
Mott MacDonald provided detailed engineering, procurement
assistance, project management and construction supervision
services for a Greenfield facility producing industrial dryers,
industrial fans and material handling systems. Kilburn Engineering
Limited set up the manufacturing facility over eight acres of land
at Saravali in the state of Maharashtra. The facility comprised of
the main production plant, packing and storage pilot plant and
administrative building.
Greenfield material handling equipment manufacturing
facility, Gujarat
The Greenfield material handling equipment manufacturing facility
located at Savli in Vadodara in the state of Gujarat is spread over
an area of 40 acres of land. Phase I of the project comprised of
the manufacturing blocks, administrative building, R&D centre,
utility blocks and other associated amenities. Phase II of the
project houses the captive power plant and Phase III has centre of
excellence manufacturing block. We provided master planning,
detailed engineering, procurement assistance, project management
and construction supervision services for McNally Sayaji
Engineering Limited.
Metro and train coaches manufacturing facility,
Aurangabad
Siemens India is one of the largest diversified multi national
companies operating in India. Their business interests range from
healthcare, industry, information and communication, lighting to
transportation. Siemens Rolling Stock Private Limited has set up a
state-of-the-art metro and rail coach manufacturing facility at
Aurangabad located in the state of Maharashtra. We provided
detailed engineering, procurement assistance, quality assurance and
construction supervision and project management services for this
project.
India Foils Limited viability
India Foils Limited (IFL) was incorporated in 1960 and was part of
India Foils Limited UK. In 1977, India Foils Private Limited took
over the Indian business of India Foils Limited, UK and became a
public limited company. IFL is one of the leaders in foil business
in India. Even though IFL is a leading brand in India, the company
is not performing well. Vedanta Group was looking to sell the
company and at the same time lenders were looking to restructure
the operations.
Mott MacDonald was appointed to prepare a restructuring plan for
IFL covering business, administrative and financial restructuring.
Mott MacDonald also carried valuation of the plant.
Pipe complex feasibility
Akshata Pipe Industries Private Limited (APIPL) is a company
floated by Topworth Group to handle the pipe business. APIPL
proposes to invest Rs 5,000 million in developing a Pipe Complex
near Khapoli, Maharashtra. The Pipe Complex will have a SAW Pipe
Plant, ERW Pipe Plant together with coating facilities. The target
markets include oil and gas, water and sewerage and industrial
applications.
Mott MacDonald was appointed to prepare a feasibility report for
the pipe complex.
