The 14-storey circular towers house 80 serviced apartments including penthouses, a number of 3-, 2- and 1-BHK and studio apartments. It also has a special lounge, delicatessen, and business centre plus conference facilities.

Ebene cyber city, Mauritius

Cyber City has been developed by Business Parks of Mauritius Ltd on 370ha. Like the seven colours of the rainbow, Cyber City has seven major zones:

• cyber tower and multimedia

• knowledge centre
• commercial
• business class enter-tainment
• administrative
• residential and recreational

Mott MacDonald in India was responsible for setting up of all basic infrastructure facilities including telecom connectivity. We designed the Cyber Tower and Communication Network Operation Centre (NOC) building and related communication facilities. Services included civil and structural design, design of electrical, mechanical and building management services, preparation of tender documents and assistance in project management, site supervision and quality assurance.

Ramky residential and commercial complex, Hyderabad

Ramky Towers Limited, a subsidiary of Ramky group is developing a mega project conceived in partnership with Andhra Pradesh Housing Board. These spacious apartments and duplex flats are being constructed specifically to give a luxurious living experience. This project has in it to offer 1.3 million Sq ft of residential space, 0.12 million Sq ft of commercial space and also equipped with 20,000 sq ft of club house with all modern amenities. Mott MacDonald has been engaged to provide an enhanced PMC services including construction management.

Lanco – high rise residential tower

LANCO Hills is a unique project with over 30 million sq ft of usable space. LANCO Hills integrates international standard work spheres, ultra modern living spaces, extraordinary entertainment and commercial and retail districts with every conceivable amenity for a great life.

IMM was engaged to carry out the proof checking of the structural design of a high rise RCC framed 36 levels building with more than 400,000 Sft of built up area.

Bahrain city centre mall

Bahrain City Centre Mall is a large scale retail and leisure complex located in the city of Manama, the capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Alongside the 207 000m² of retail space, two luxury hotels with approximately 500 rooms, a 20 screen cinema, car park area for 5000 cars, the mall will be home to the largest indoor climate controlled water park in the Middle East.

Mott MacDonald undertook the structural and building services engineering design for the project. The project has required significant liaison with a number of consultants and local bodies to turn the design into reality. Key technical features include the extensive use of pre-cast concrete elements, extensive use of post-tensioned concrete for long span beams, a dedicated energy centre with a 56 MVA power supply, a cooling plant providing 45 MW of cooling, heat reclaim on central fresh air extract/plant, a centralised 40 000 l LPG storage facility and a circular ring services distribution.

Kanakia hotel lenders engineer

Lender’s independent engineer for developing a Business Category Hotel for Kanakia GroupKanakia Hospitality Private Limited (KHPL) is promoted by Kanakia Group, Mumbai. Kanakia Group is a reputed business group in the real estate sector. The Group has 41 completed projects in construction, entertainment and education activity to its credit with a staff strength exceeding 800. The Group has also diversified into entertainment industry and is constructing and operating 9 state-of-art cinemas and 5 multiplex cinemas.

KHPL already acquired strategically located land measuring 6,500 m2, for developing a Business Category Hotel consisting of 299 keys in Mumbai. IDBI Bank who is the lenders to this project has appointed Mott MacDonald as Lenders’ Independent Engineer to appraise KHPL’s project (Phase- I) and then monitor its execution (Phase-II).
