Our buildings team covering commercial, residential, leisure and
recreational, industrial and institutional projects have had an
established presence in the Indian market. In addition to the local
market - served by each of our principal offices in Ahmedabad,
Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai - we have a well established buildings
design hub in Chennai, focussed primarily on the premium buildings
market in the Gulf.
We offer multi-faceted services including project configuration to
advising lenders and developers, planning, designing and
engineering support, quantity survey and procurement support to
contract management, quality assurance and site supervision to
managing construction, addressing safety issues, documentation and
project control; and overall project management.
Our buildings team is also actively involved in developing projects
of national interest most notably on the new designs for Delhi
International airport and Delhi Metro stations.
Buildings with mainly social purposes for British Red Cross,
UNICEF, etc. are exampled by our work in earthquake reconstruction
in Gujarat, post-Tsunami rehousing in Maldives and Indonesia, Post
Cyclone reconstruction and Rehabilitation of Primary Schools and
Health Facilities at Orissa; housing for the resettlement of
slum-dwellers in Mumbai, plus a number of hospital projects.
